Nomadic Hotel Review – quintessential costa rica

Earlier this year, I went on an epic girls trip to Costa Rica and I have to share this amazing hotel we stayed out! The Nomadic Hotel in Nosara was the chic surfer boho design hotel of my dreams! Along with beautiful rooms, you’ll get a free breakfast, free yoga classes, swings, hammocks, and a stunning pool. Can’t wait to show you the photos!

How We Chose the Nomadic Hotel

Costa Rica has its fair share of beautiful boutique hotels and I knew I had to splurge for at least one of them. I was looking for a modern design forward hotel that provided great value. I looked up hotels with yoga classes and the Nomadic hotel was one of the prettiest ones!

Free Yoga Classes in Nosara

The coastal town of Nosara is very well known for it’s yoga retreats and there are several yoga studios you can choose from. At the Nomadic Hotel, the yoga class is held on a beautiful outdoor terrace with a straw thatched roof that makes me feel one with nature. All classes are free for hotel guests and you can find the schedule here. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the best yoga class I’ve ever had! Lauren was an excellent instructor with such an uplifting energy!

Free Breakfast at the Nomadic Hotel

Food is really expensive in Costa Rica so a free breakfast is a huge perk as part of the hotel stay! I was hoping for more Costa Rican food but luckily although it was Western, it was extremely tasty. For refreshments, I got my fill of coffee and a delicious passionfruit juice to start the day. The pancake was surprisingly yummy and I enjoyed the little side of fresh fruit as well. This breakfast spread would have easily costed $20-$25.

You can also order drinks and snacks throughout the day. The pricing is really reasonable and I loved the convenience of being able to have a cold beer by the pool.

Rooms at the Nomadic Hotel

Now that I showed you all the perks, let’s take a look at the room itself! We stayed in a Deluxe Double room as it had two beds. If you’re traveling as a couple, the Deluxe King looks great as well. The room has really pretty rattan storage cupboards and a lovely wooden ceiling. The bathroom had interesting tiles and a copper looking shower head.

The Nomadic Hotel Common Areas

I think above all, what makes the Nomadic Hotel stand out is its abundance of common areas. You have a very natural pool with sun loungers and lots of vegetation. Then, you have some more unique spaces like this relaxing sun tanning terrace, and then a covered sitting area with a ladder that leads up to a net where you can sleep!

It was such a relaxing stay and perfect if you want to enjoy a day enjoying the amenities of a “resort”. Book your stay directly with the hotel here!
